I am a committed and experienced teaching artist who delights in students’ progress and success. Able to be highly organized or improvisational and flexible as the occasion demands, emphasizing both professional conduct and creative joy through teaching. Comfortable with all age levels, utilizing the knowledge gained from a wide variety of experience and training to customize the learning experience and creative process.

I completed her Bachelor’s degree in music at the Mannes College of Music, specializing in classical voice performance. I pursued her Master’s degree in voice at Mannes and at Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music, as well as completing a two year acting curriculum at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio. I have taught voice, piano, and music theory to students of all ages, both privately and with the Kathryn Brickell company.

Some performance career highlights include career highlights include acting in the national tour of Man of La Mancha; the live taping of This American Life: As Seen on Radio with host Ira Glass at the Howard Gilman Opera House at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM); as well as performances of numerous operas, musicals, and plays at theaters such as City Center, the Kaye Playhouse, and Symphony Space.
